Naturist sports activities at the campsite

Several hiking trails start at the campsite’s exit, enabling you to discover the local scenery, the garrigue, and the rich variety of its flora. You will walk past vineyards and reed-beds. You will discover an old mill, Roman baths, the ruins of the old fishing village of “Glabanel”, as well as a breathtaking panoramic view over the saltwater La Palme lake and the Mediterranean Sea.

There are various levels of difficulties, with gentle slopes and distances that vary between four and twelve miles, depending how fit you are.

Organised by holidaymakers several times a week, you will discover the area around La Palme, taking some of the same trails used by hikers. For cyclists too, there is a wide choice of routes. You can ride through the village of Roquefort-des-Corbières, and the bravest among you can do the 35-mile tour of the Bages lake! But be careful, as some of the descents are quite technical, so you should find out how difficult the trail is before you start. And above all, don’t forget to take water and sunscreen with you, because it can get very hot in summer!

Why bother with your own bikes? We have a range of bikes for hire, including adult touring mountain bikes. Please note that accessories such as helmets and repair kits are not supplied.

The Le Clapotis campsite offers several facilities for playing your favourite sports, like mini-tennis classe, for example, which require good reflexes, the beach volleyball court, the multisports ground where you can play handball, basketball or volleyball, petanque area, trampolines; and, a little further away, you will find two ping-pong tables as well as our 5 outdoor sports apparatus to keep everyone in shape.

Various competitions are organised several times a week. And as friendliness is the norm at Le Clapotis, you will have no problem finding a team you can join.
